HOME|EVENT TERMS

These Event Terms apply to events organized by NMN Investments, LLC, d/b/a MyCoffeeSettings ("MCS"), which are identified as "MCS Events" on their listing (each, an "Event"). They supplement the MCS Terms of Service. Events created by roasters or other organizers are not MCS Events; for those, MCS is only a listing platform, as described in section 9 of the Terms of Service.
By registering for or attending an Event, you agree to these Event Terms.
Events are free unless the listing states otherwise. Space is limited, and registration does not guarantee entry if an Event reaches venue capacity. You must be at least 13 years old to register. Attendees under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian agree to these Event Terms on their behalf, as described in section 7. Registration is personal and may not be transferred without our permission.
The MCS Community Guidelines and any rules of the venue apply at every Event. You are responsible for your own conduct and belongings. MCS, its staff, and the venue may refuse entry to or remove anyone who behaves unsafely, disruptively, or unlawfully, or who violates these Event Terms.
MCS may photograph, film, and record Events, and may use these recordings, which may include your image, likeness, and voice, in the Service and in MCS's marketing and social media, without compensation. If you do not want to appear, tell an MCS staff member at the Event or email info@mycoffeesettings.com. We will make reasonable efforts not to feature you and will remove recordings in which you are identifiable from our channels on request, where practicable.
You understand that attending an Event involves risks, including but not limited to: burns or scalds from hot water, coffee, steam, and equipment; cuts from grinders, glassware, and other tools; allergic reactions or sensitivities to coffee, milk, food, or other items served; effects of caffeine; slips, trips, and falls; risks related to the venue, its premises, and other attendees; travel to and from the Event; and loss of or damage to personal property. YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL OF THESE RISKS, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN. You are responsible for knowing your own allergies, health conditions, and caffeine tolerance, and for choosing what you consume.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING FOR OR ATTENDING AN EVENT, YOU GIVE UP LEGAL RIGHTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND AGREE NOT TO SUE NMN INVESTMENTS, LLC, D/B/A MYCOFFEESETTINGS, AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, SPONSORS, AND PARTNERS (THE "RELEASED PARTIES") FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, OR LOSSES, INCLUDING FOR PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR REGISTRATION FOR, TRAVEL TO, OR ATTENDANCE AT ANY EVENT, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES.
This release does not apply to the extent a claim arises from the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of a Released Party, or to any other liability that cannot be released under applicable law. You agree to indemnify the Released Parties for any claim brought by you or on your behalf in breach of this section. If any part of this section is held unenforceable, the rest remains in full force to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If you register a minor for an Event, you confirm that you are the minor's parent or legal guardian, that you consent to the minor's attendance, and that you agree to these Event Terms on the minor's behalf and on your own behalf. You are responsible for the minor's supervision and conduct, and for informing MCS of any allergies or conditions relevant to the minor's safety.
For an attendee under 18, the release in section 6 applies only to claims arising from the inherent risks of the Event, as permitted by Fla. Stat. ยง 744.301(3), and not to claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties. The parent or legal guardian must agree to the following notice:
NOTICE TO THE MINOR CHILD'S NATURAL GUARDIAN
READ THIS FORM COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. YOU ARE AGREEING TO LET YOUR MINOR CHILD ENGAGE IN A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ACTIVITY. YOU ARE AGREEING THAT, EVEN IF NMN INVESTMENTS, LLC, D/B/A MYCOFFEESETTINGS USES REASONABLE CARE IN PROVIDING THIS ACTIVITY, THERE IS A CHANCE YOUR CHILD MAY BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVITY BECAUSE THERE ARE CERTAIN DANGERS INHERENT IN THE ACTIVITY WHICH CANNOT BE AVOIDED OR ELIMINATED. BY SIGNING THIS FORM YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR CHILD'S RIGHT AND YOUR RIGHT TO RECOVER FROM NMN INVESTMENTS, LLC, D/B/A MYCOFFEESETTINGS IN A LAWSUIT FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH, TO YOUR CHILD OR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE THAT RESULTS FROM THE RISKS THAT ARE A NATURAL PART OF THE ACTIVITY. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO SIGN THIS FORM, AND NMN INVESTMENTS, LLC, D/B/A MYCOFFEESETTINGS HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO LET YOUR CHILD PARTICIPATE IF YOU DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM.
Events may be held at venues owned or operated by third parties, and may involve sponsors, roasters, or other partners who provide coffee, food, equipment, or activities. Each of them is responsible for its own premises, products, staff, and conduct. MCS does not control third-party premises or products and is not responsible for them.
MCS may change an Event's date, time, venue, program, or capacity, or cancel an Event, at any time, including for reasons outside its control. We will notify registered attendees by email as soon as reasonably possible. Because Events are free, MCS has no liability for any costs you incur, such as travel, if an Event is changed or cancelled.
The disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution and arbitration, governing law, venue, jury trial waiver, and class action waiver provisions of the Terms of Service apply to these Event Terms. If these Event Terms conflict with the Terms of Service about an Event, these Event Terms control.
